AMC & Regal Delay Reopening Theaters

The two largest movie theater chains in the U.S. are pushing back their opening dates.

There has been an up-tick of COVID-19 cases in many states, but also a severe lack of movies to play. The big releases for July were supposed to be “Mulan” and “Tenet.” However, both were pushed back to August.

AMC has delayed their opening to July 30th, while Regal plans to open July 31st. The chains operate more than 15,000 theaters in North America.
