The City of Knoxville has opened the new Baker Creek Bike Park in South Knoxville.
The City Council approved the bike park as part of former Mayor Madeline Rogero’s $10 million Urban Wilderness Gateway Park in 2018. The bike park is the first portion of the project to be complete.
It’s a 100-acre park with a five multi-use trails and three dedicated downhill mountain bike trails. There’s over 7 miles of hiking and biking options for everyone from novice to extreme mountain bikers.
Baker Creek Park is just off Lancaster Drive near South Doyle Middle School.
