Megan Boswell Pleads Not Guilty to Murder in Daughter’s Death

A Sullivan County mother accused of killing her 15-month old daughter says she’s not guilty in the case. She made the plea Friday morning in a virtual arraignment. Friday was 19-year-old Megan Boswell’s first appearance in court since she was indicted on First-Degree Murder earlier this month.

Evelyn Boswell’s remains were found on a family member’s property in March after an Amber Alert and search across multiple states. Investigators say Boswell continually lied about the case and hindered their investigation.

Boswell is charged with two counts of Felony Murder, Abuse of a Corpse and Aggravated Child Neglect. She’s being held on a $1 Million bond.
