Our very own longtime sports reporter and journalist Jimmy Hyams is hanging up his everyday headphones after 25 plus years on The Sports Animal. On top of providing unmatchable sports reports, news, interviews, and consistent entertaining content on SportsTalk (alongside co-host John Wilkerson for over 25 years), Jimmy entered the Tennessee Sports Writers Association Hall of Fame in 2011 and the Greater Knoxville Sports Hall of Fame in 2022. Jimmy has also covered the Tennessee Volunteers for 38 years. Although you may still hear Jimmy on The Sports Animal 99.1 from time to time, he is now seeking his next chapter in life, being able to play golf and tennis whenever he wants. Thank You Jimmy! Your professionalism and expertise cannot be matched.
