KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Week 2 saw three VFLs score touchdowns, with several defensive players wreaking havoc on the gridiron.
Cleveland Browns’ rookie Dylan Sampson scored his first NFL touchdown on an 8-yard reception from fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel. In the same contest, Cedric Tillman hauled in his second touchdown reception of the season, finishing with 22 yards.
For San Francisco, Jauan Jennings caught five passes for 89 yards and a touchdown in the 49ers’ win over the Saints.
Byron Young played well in the Rams’ victory over the Titans, posting two sacks, including a strip sack, with five tackles on Sunday.
On Sunday night, Theo Jackson recorded nine tackles and recovered a fumble against the Falcons.
