KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee softball returns to the diamond at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium on Saturday, opening its fall slate against Roane State. First pitch is set for 1 p.m. ET.
Admission is free to all fall contests, with gates opening one hour prior to first pitch. Restrooms will be open, but concessions will not be available for fall softball games.
Saturday marks the first of six home dates for the Lady Vols this fall. UT brings back two-time consensus first-team All-American and two-time SEC Pitcher of the Year Karlyn Pickens for her final season on Rocky Top, along with 14 returners from last year’s team that advanced to the national semifinals at the Women’s College World Series. The program also welcomes nine newcomers, including three transfers and six freshmen.
