KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee men’s basketball team will welcome the public to Food City Center for its Oct. 11 intrasquad scrimmage.
Gates will open at 11 a.m., in advance of the 11:30 a.m. scrimmage. Fans can enter the arena through Gates C and D. Admission is free.
Fans are encouraged to sit in Sections 103, 104, 105, 106 and 107. Concession stands will be closed and there will be no public parking available on campus, as lots are allocated for the Tennessee-Arkansas football game.
The Volunteers are coming off a 30-8 (12-6 SEC) campaign in 2024-25. They finished fifth in the national polls for the second season row, as well as reached the Elite Eight for the second consecutive year.
Rick Barnes, now in his 11th season on Rocky Top, enters 2025-26 with the most wins (836) of any active Division I head coach. His team brings back four letter winners, including a starter in senior forward Felix Okpara. Tennessee also welcomes nine newcomers, including Nate Ament, the highest-ranked recruit in program history, and Ja’Kobi Gillespie, a Third Team All-Big Ten selection at Maryland last year.
