KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Former Tennessee standouts continued to make their presence felt across the NFL in Week 9. Jauan Jennings turned in one of his best outings of the season, hauling in four receptions for 41 yards and a touchdown to help lead the San Francisco 49ers past the New York Giants.
In New Orleans, cornerback Alontae Taylor tied his season-high with eight tackles, including one for loss against the Rams. Third-year offensive tackle Darnell Wright continued to anchor Chicago’s line, playing all 80 offensive snaps in the Bears’ 47-42 victory over Cincinnati.
Several other Vols contributed around the league, including Derek Barnett, Theo Jackson, and Byron Young, who each recorded tackles in their respective matchups, while Jalin Hyatt returned four kickoffs for 111 yards against San Francisco.
