Knox County, TN (WOKI) – An investigation is underway following a stabbing at Halls High School.
Knox County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to the school this (Monday) morning for a reported stabbing involving two students.
The preliminary investigation indicates that a 16-year-old 11th grade male student stabbed a 15-year-old 10th grade male student with a sharp object, not a knife, during a barbering class.
The 15-year-old victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The 16-year-old suspect has been taken into custody and charged with Aggravated Assault.
KCSO says due to the ages of those involved, no names will be released.
