KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Head coach Karen Weekly and the Tennessee softball program announced the Lady Vols’ complete 2026 schedule on Wednesday. Tennessee previously released its opening weekend and Southeastern Conference slate earlier this fall.
The Lady Vols will host 22 games at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium, with 15 road contests and 15 neutral-site matchups. Tennessee is scheduled to play 29 games against 15 opponents that reached the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
Of those 15 teams, nine advanced to the Super Regionals and four went on to compete in the Women’s College World Series.
Tennessee will open the 2026 season in Clearwater, Florida, for the second consecutive year and the third time in four seasons, taking part in the NFCA Leadoff Classic at the Eddie C. Moore Complex.
UT will remain in Clearwater for Week 2 to compete in the Shriners Children’s Clearwater Invitational presented by EvoShield. Highlighting the weekend will be a Super Regional rematch with Nebraska* and a Women’s College World Series rematch against UCLA*.
The Lady Vols will then travel to Birmingham, Alabama, for a five-game tournament hosted by UAB before returning to Rocky Top to host the Tennessee Invitational from Feb. 27–March 1. Appalachian State, Penn State and North Carolina Central will round out the tournament field.
Tennessee’s home opener will feature a doubleheader against Appalachian State and Penn State on Feb. 27.
The remainder of the nonconference schedule includes midweek home games against Belmont*, Tennessee Tech, ETSU, Kennesaw State and Radford, as well as road contests at Duke* and Lipscomb. The annual Midstate Classic in Columbia, Tennessee, is set for March 10 against Austin Peay.
Conference play begins March 6–8 with a home series versus LSU*, followed by home weekends against Ole Miss* (March 27–29), South Carolina* (April 3–5) and Alabama* (April 25–27).
SEC road trips include series at Mississippi State* (March 13–15), Florida* (March 20–22), Kentucky* (April 11–13) and Missouri (April 30–May 2) to close the regular season.
The 2026 SEC Tournament will be held at Kentucky’s John Cropp Stadium in Lexington. The event begins Tuesday, May 5, with the championship game set for Saturday, May 9.
