Former Central Michigan tight end Tony Poljan has joined Virginia as a graduate transfer.
A former Chippewas quarterback, the 6-foot-7, 255-pound fifth-year senior entered the NCAA transfer portal on Wednesday and tweeted his commitment to the Cavaliers on Thursday.
Poljan started all 12 games in 2019, catching 33 passes for 496 yards and four touchdowns as the Chippewas finished 8-6 overall and 6-3 in the Mid-American Conference. He earned second-team All-MAC honors.
In 34 career games at Central Michigan, he passed for 703 yards and two touchdowns, rushed for 248 yards and two scores and caught 45 passes for 718 yards and six TDs.
