ANDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. (Story courtesy of WVLT) – Flooding in Anderson County has prompted a warning from first responders to use caution when driving in the area.
Several roads have flooded or are closed. At 9 a.m. Thursday, the Anderson County Emergency Management Agency provided this list:
- Irwin Mill at Hinds Creek
- Pumpkin Hollow at Brooks Gap – Flooded
- Brooks Gap from the interstate bridge to Brushy Valley-Flooded
- Airport Road in Oliver Springs – Flooded
- 1240 Byrams Ford – Flooded and closed at this time
- Offutt Spur Road at Offutt Road – Flooded
Among the agencies warning about flood was the Andersonville Volunteer Fire Department.
