KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – No. 4 Tennessee got back in the win column on Sunday with a walk-off win over Ole Miss, 4-3, on Sunday at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium.
Tied at 3-3 in the bottom of the seventh, Alannah Leach roped a leadoff double into the left-center field gap. A walk from Emma Clarke followed to put a pair of runners on. After a foul out, Makenzie Butt drew her fourth walk of the day to load the bases.
Elsa Morrison reached on a fielder’s choice, but Ole Miss was able to get the out at the plate to keep the game tied.
With two away, Saviya Morgan drew a walk-off walk to clinch the win for the Lady Vols.
Alannah Leach and Sophia Knight led UT with two hits apiece, while Clarke and Morrison collected Tennessee’s remaining hits in the game.
The Lady Vols (30-5, 7-5 SEC) started Erin Nuwer in the circle on Sunday. The sophomore tossed four strong innings, scattering three hits with one walk and one strikeout.
Karlyn Pickens (8-3) entered in the fifth and finished the outing. She allowed three runs on two hits with one walk and six strikeouts.
Tennessee got on the board first with a three-run third inning. Alannah Leach drew a one-out walk, followed by a Clarke double to right, which put two runners in scoring position. After a shallow flyout, Butt walked to load the bases.
Morrison then ripped a double into the left-field corner as she cleared the bases.
Ole Miss (23-15, 2-10 SEC) battled back in the sixth with a three-run home run from Madi George.
The Rebels started Friday night winner Emilee Boyer in the circle. She went 2.1 frames, allowing two runs on two hits with three walks. Lilly Whitten came on in relief and threw an inning. She gave up one run on two hits with a walk and two strikeouts.
Kyra Aycock (9-8) threw 3.1 innings out of the bullpen, giving up one run on one hit with four walks and one strikeout.

Tennessee will play host to South Carolina April 2-4. The series is set for Thursday through Saturday, with Easter Weekend.
