West Knoxville is getting a new destination for fitness, competition, and community with the arrival of PickUp USA Fitness – West Knoxville, a basketball‑focused gym built for people who still love the game and want more from their workouts.
Unlike traditional fitness centers, PickUp USA Fitness is designed around organized play. Members can expect structured pickup basketball games with referees, skill development programs for both youth and adults, and a full strength and cardio training area that supports both on‑court performance and everyday fitness. It’s a gym where competition meets structure—and where effort and respect are part of the culture.
The West Knoxville location will feature two indoor courts and a modern training area, creating a space that works just as well for serious hoopers as it does for anyone looking to stay active in a motivating, community‑driven environment.
The club is locally owned by Megan and Landon Bedford, who brings PickUp USA Fitness to Knoxville as part of the brand’s continued national expansion. Founded in 2016, PickUp USA Fitness is the first and only basketball‑focused fitness club concept in the country, with locations opening nationwide and West Knoxville now joining the lineup.
PickUp USA Fitness will introduce itself to the community at the WIVK Southern Life Expo, a free, indoor event celebrating East Tennessee’s Southern lifestyle through music, food, family, sports, shopping, and live entertainment. The expo takes place Saturday, July 11 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Knoxville Expo Center, located at 5441 Clinton Highway.
