GATLINBURG, Tenn. (WOKI / WVLT) — Gatlinburg Fire Department Chief David Gray has stepped down from his position, city officials announced Monday.
According to a statement released by the City of Gatlinburg, Gray submitted his resignation on Monday. A specific reason for his departure was not disclosed.
In the wake of Gray’s departure, city leadership appointed Assistant Chief Wayne Brandenburg to serve as Interim Fire Chief to oversee daily operations.
