KNOXVILLE, TN (WOKI) – MEDIC Regional Blood Center has announced the winner of its annual T-shirt Design Contest, recognizing a local high school student whose artwork will soon be seen by blood donors across East Tennessee.
After receiving more than 30 original submissions from high school students throughout the region, MEDIC narrowed the competition to four finalists and opened voting to the public.
Voting concluded on Nov. 1, and MEDIC announced that Briley, a student at West Greene High School, received the most votes.
As the contest winner, Briley’s artwork will be featured on MEDIC’s March 2027 donor T-shirt, which will be distributed as part of future blood donation campaigns.
In addition to having her design selected, Briley will receive a $500 e-gift card.
MEDIC officials said the contest was designed to encourage creativity among local students while helping raise awareness about the importance of blood donation throughout East Tennessee.
The organization thanked all of the students who submitted entries and participated in the competition.
