FARRAGUT, Tenn. (WOKI / WVLT) – Farragut’s popular Harvest Fest is set to return later this month with a new way to celebrate one of East Tennessee’s most beloved figures.
Shop Farragut and the Farragut Business Alliance announced that the 2026 Harvest Fest will take place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25, at the Village Green Shopping Center in Farragut.
The annual fall festival will feature trick-or-treating, food trucks, live entertainment, children’s activities and a community costume contest designed for festivalgoers of all ages.
This year’s event will include a special new costume contest category, “Farragut’s Dolly Parton,” created to honor the East Tennessee country music legend following her passing in August.
“Harvest Fest is about bringing our community together while giving our local businesses an opportunity to connect with residents and visitors,” said Shop Farragut Executive Director Ashley Lynch. “We’re excited to welcome families back for another year of fall fun, and we think the new Dolly Parton costume category will be a wonderful addition to the festivities.”
The costume contest will feature six categories:
- Best Under 5
- Best Pet
- Best Group
- Judges’ Choice
- Best Overall
- Farragut’s Dolly Parton
Organizers say the festival continues to be one of Farragut’s signature fall events, offering family-friendly activities while showcasing local businesses and community organizations.
The addition of the Dolly Parton-themed category is expected to draw participants eager to celebrate the legacy of one of East Tennessee’s most recognizable cultural icons.
Festival activities are open to the public and are expected to attract families from throughout Knox County and the surrounding region.
