Knoxville Police say there were two fatalities during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend which ran Wednesday thru Sunday.
Both fatal accidents happened Sunday night on I-40.
In addition to this, more than 300 citations were issued and two DUI arrests were made in Knoxville as well as 11 crashes with injury.
Across the state, the Tennessee Highway Patrol says there were seven deadly crashes, down from 12 last year, and they investigated 93 crashes.
