KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – A friend of mine compared Tennessee’s football program to the Kardashians.
“They look great, but they haven’t done anything.”
Tennessee does look like a team that could be great.
“Football Time in Tennessee” has Butch Jones’ Vols No. 8 in its preseason poll. But what did you expect from a Knoxville-based publication? But it’s not just east Tennessee that is bullish on the Vols. Athlon has the Vols No. 7 in its preseason poll. Bruce Feldman of Fox Sports has the Vols No. 8. You won’t find many people picking anyone other than Tennessee to win the SEC East.
