INDIANAPOLIS – The 2026 NFL Scouting Combine is underway with seven Tennessee football VFLs in attendance over the four-day on-field event from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
On-field workouts commenced Thursday and continue through Sunday by position group. NFL Network coverage begins at 3 p.m. ET Thursday and Friday and starts at 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Follow live results here.
Tennessee is represented by quarterback Joey Aguilar, defensive linemen Joshua Josephs and Bryson Eason, defensive backs Colton Hood and Jermod McCoy, tight end Miles Kitselman and wide receiver Chris Brazzell II.
Josephs and Eason are taking part in events on Thursday with the defensive line group. The two played their entire careers on Rocky Top. Kitselman is also participating Thursday. After joining the Vols in 2024, he caught 48 passes for 554 yards and six touchdowns, while serving as a catalyst in the run game with his physicality.
The Vols are seeking to produce multiple first round cornerbacks this spring. Though they never played together on the field, Hood and McCoy left their marks in one season after transferring into the program. Both were All-SEC selections and Thorpe Award semifinalists. McCoy, who did not play last fall after recovering from a January knee injury, is still meeting with teams and is currently scheduled to participate in Tennessee’s Pro Day on March 31. Hood will workout with the cornerbacks on Friday.
Aguilar is meeting with teams as well. After arriving in June, his one season as a Vol was a memorable one as he led the SEC in passing yards per game at 274.2. He was even better in league-only games at 310.9 yards per game through the air. He finished with 3,666 yards of total offense and accounted for 28 touchdowns in leading the nation’s No. 6 scoring offense and No. 7 total offense.
Brazzell is seeking to become the seventh Vol wide receiver selected in the last seven drafts and the fifth in the Josh Heupel era. The SEC’s leading receiver at 84.8 yards per game, Brazzell also led the conference in touchdown catches with nine. He was the only 1,000-yard receiver in the SEC during the regular season and displayed his versatility with a full route tree and an ability to play all three positions. His on-field workout is scheduled for Saturday.
The 2026 NFL Draft is scheduled for April 23-25 in Pittsburgh.
