MARYVILLE, Tenn. (Story courtesy of WVLT) – A man has been charged after he allegedly stabbed a woman while she was sleeping at a warming center in Maryville.
According to Maryville Police Chief Tony Crisp, the incident happened at the warming center at First Baptist Church at around 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
On the scene, Crisp said officers found a 21-year-old woman who had a stab wound to the back. She was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
