Knoxville, TN (WOKI) – The Knoxville Police Department is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that happened on Clinton Highway Saturday morning.
At around 8:25 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, KPD officers were dispatched to a crash involving a motorcycle and a car on Clinton Highway at Treemont Drive. The motorcycle driver, a 22-year-old man, sustained severe head trauma in the crash and was pronounced dead after arrival at the UT Medical Center. The other involved vehicle remained at the scene.
The crash investigation is being led by KPD crash reconstruction personnel. That investigation is ongoing and in the early stages.
The identity of the victim is being withheld at this time.
