Knoxville, TN (WOKI) – An 89-year-old man is dead after his truck went into the Tennessee River.
Police say the crash happened in the 500 block of Neyland Drive when a pickup truck drove through a sidewalk barrier and into the water.
Emergency crews pulled the driver from the vehicle but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
KPD crash investigators are working to determine what led up to the incident.
