KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Coming off its third trip to the national semifinals at the Women’s College World Series in the past four seasons, Tennessee softball is set to return to the diamond with its 2026 fall schedule.
The Lady Vols are slated to play eight games, including seven at home and a road contest in the Midstate. Admission is free for all fall contests at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium. Gates will open one hour prior to first pitch. Restrooms will be open, but concessions will not be available for fall softball games.
UT opens fall play Sept. 25 against Walters State before hosting Lipscomb on Sept. 27 and Carson-Newman on Oct. 2.
Northeast Alabama visits Sherri Parker Lee on Oct. 9 to kick off a full weekend of games, featuring contests against Northwest Florida State College on Oct. 10 and a Sunday matinee versus Roane State on Oct. 11.
Tennessee makes its lone road trip of the fall on Oct. 18, traveling to Murfreesboro for a showdown against the Blue Raiders.
The Lady Vols close out the schedule at home, hosting Lee University on Oct. 23.
Tennessee returns two of the nation’s top pitchers in Sage Mardjetko and Erin Nuwer. The duo combined for 31 wins and eight shutouts a year ago. Mardjetko went 16-3 with 171 strikeouts and a 1.26 ERA en route to NFCA First Team All-America honors. Nuwer finished 2026 with a 15-1 mark, 90 strikeouts and a 1.01 ERA.
The Lady Vols return nine starters from last year’s squad, including Sophia Knight, who led all players with a .394 batting average. Three of UT’s top four home run leaders from 2026 are back in Emma Clarke (14), Alannah Leach (13) and Gabby Leach (10).
