Josh’s Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser

Giving is Living.

A friend of mine told me that years ago.

What a beautiful statement.

And true.

I’ve been fortunate to work with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for the past decade.

I’ve seen how LLS had led the way in cutting-edge research, which has led to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics, and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients.

LLS provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families – that includes personalized, one-on-one support and assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials.

I’m proud to take part in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Visionaries of the Year campaign as a team member, working to make the largest impact possible for LLS’s mission.

There are several ways you can help:

1️⃣ Please consider making a contribution to my campaign.

2️⃣ Share this link with anyone you think would be interested in the campaign. The more people we reach, the greater the impact we can make for LLS!

All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. If you’d like to learn more about LLS, please visit www.LLS.org

On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you for your support.

Jessica’s Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser

I have been given the opportunity of a lifetime to help others.  I am running as a Visionary of the Year for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) in honor of my little brother, Caleb, who was diagnosed with leukemia (ALL) in 2021. After chemo, radiation and a bone marrow transplant via our little sister. I’m so happy that he is in remission and he continues to have blood draws to make sure he is still doing well.  Caleb is a student at University of Tennessee – Chattanooga (UTC) and is thriving and is possibly the sweetest human alive.

Each year, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) launches its Knoxville Visionaries of the Year fundraising campaign, and this year I was honored to be nominated as a candidate.  I am reaching out to ask for your support of LLS’s mission in its effort to find cures for blood cancers and to assist patients and families as they battle this disease.

I am a visionary; I have a vision for a world without cancer, but I need your help! The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on this same vision–of a better world–one without blood cancers. From February 20th to May 2nd, my team and I will work to hit our goal of $50,000 which will go directly to LLS.  If we raise this amount by May 2, we can connect our team’s name, “Caleb’s Warriors” to an LLS-funded research portfolio to honor our efforts and help in developing better treatments.

As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:

  • Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics, and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients.
  • Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
  • Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.

Please consider supporting me and my team as we work with this incredible organization to find a cure and support patients and their families.  All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. All donations received will support LLS’s overall mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

I am grateful for your friendship and support.  On behalf of myself, Caleb and my team, thank you!
