Campbell County, TN (WOKI) The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is investigating following an inmate’s death at the Campbell County Jail.

TBI officials say 26-year-old Faith Evans died at the jail Monday morning, and special agents are investigating what led to her death at the request of Eighth Judicial District Attorney General Jared Effler.

TBI says the investigation remains active and ongoing.

Agents were also requested to investigate an inmate death earlier this month. Forty-seven year old Gary Wayne Burriss was found dead at the Campbell County Jail on April 19.
