A man is facing charges after sending a woman to the hospital in a pedestrian car crash in Anderson County.
The Sheriff’s Office says it happened early yesterday (Monday) morning. Deputies and the Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to the 100 block of Haney Hollow Road in the Marlow community to investigate the crash.
The woman, later identified as 37-year-old Wanda Phillips, was taken to the hospital, her condition has not been released.
The man, 21-year-old Timothy Black of Oak Ridge, was taken into custody and is facing multiple charges including Attempted Murder in the First Degree, two counts of Aggravated Assault and reckless endangerment and leaving the scene of an accident.
