Cocke County, TN (WOKI) The Cocke County Sheriff’s Office says the suspect has been caught which caused a deputy to be injured while chasing him.

Sheriff C.J. Ball says deputies found Drury Whitlock yesterday (Sunday) and successfully took him into custody. Ball says he is wanted on a theft over $1,000 charge and several other pending charges.

After a three-day search for Whitlock, officers found him off of Blue Mill Road and began chasing him on foot last week.

While chasing Whitlock over a bridge, Ball said the side of the bridge collapsed, and the deputy fell about 14 feet into the creek and landed on a rock, his condition has not been released.
